Issued 3:30 PM AST 22 January 2021 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. AST today low 990 mb located south of Laurentian Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 987 mb located over the southern
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 988 mb located northeast of
Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Saturday low 982 mb located near Anticosti Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:13 PM AST 22 January 2021 An intense low pressure system just south of Laurentian Fan will
track northeastward this evening bringing gale force northeasterly
winds to southeasternmost waters.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan - eastern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti.
