By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday ridge located south of the Marine
District.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday trough located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday trough located over the Gaspe Peninsula.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:27 PM ADT 18 April 2025 A ridge of high pressure over the southern marine district will moveoff to the southeast tonight. Meanwhile a trough of low pressure will
move to lie over the Gaspé Peninsula by Saturday evening. Strong to
gale force southwesterlies will develop across the district Saturday
in between these two features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern
shore - eastern half, Sable, East Scotian Slope and Fourchu.
