Issued 10:00 AM ADT 6 October 2026 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 979 mb located over Labrador.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday departing low 976 mb located over
Labrador Sea.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday approaching trough located over Quebec.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located southwest of the Marine
District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located southeast of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:48 AM ADT 6 October 2026 A low pressure system north of the marine district this morning will
continue to intensify as it moves towards the Labrador coast today.
Strong to gale force westerlies are expected across the district
today in the wake of this low, with winds nearing storm force over
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwestern shore, eastern shore,
Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait, and all Gulf of St.
Lawrence waters.
