By 3:30 p.m. AST Sunday high 1043 mb located over the Gulf of Maine.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:46 AM AST 14 December 2024 A lingering trough east of the district will accelerate east today asa ridge of high pressure moves in from the west. Strong to gale force
westerly winds in the wake of the trough will begin to weaken later
this morning.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half, Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti. Freezing
spray warnings are in effect for Northumberland Strait - western
half, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
