At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 1009 mb located over the Bay of Fundy.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 1000 mb located over the northeastern
Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Issued 7:28 PM AST 19 January 2026 A low pressure system over the Bay of Fundy this evening will movenortheast to lie over the Northeastern Gulf of St. Lawrence Tuesday
morning. Strong to gale force southwest winds are expected south and
west of this low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore,
Sable - western half, Fourchu, Banquereau - northwestern half,
Northumberland Strait - western half, Gulf-Magdalen - western half,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
