Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:45 AM AST 11 February 2026 A low pressure system will develop in the Gulf of Maine this morningand deepen as it passes south of Nova Scotia. Strong to gale force
east to southeast winds are expected to develop ahead of and north of
the track of the low. Gale force westerlies are expected to develop
south of the low this evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian
Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Northumberland Strait -
eastern half, Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti - southwestern half.
