By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday quasi-stationary ridge located over the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM ADT 12 May 2024 A low pressure system just north of Banquereau will continue to track
northeastward to lie over Northern Newfoundland later this evening.
Strong to gale force winds in the vicinity of the low with quickly
diminish this evening as the low departs the region.

Mariners are advised that a gale warning is in effect for Banquereau
- northern half.
