Scotia.
At 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday intensifying trough from low located
on a line north-south over the western Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:43 AM AST 12 November 2024 A broad area of low pressure from Maine to Labrador will intensify asit shifts eastward today to lie over the Western Grand Banks on
Wednesday. Strong to gale force southerlies will continue over
southeastern waters while strong to gale force northerlies will
spread across the marine district beginning this afternoon in its
wake. Gale to possibly storm force northerlies are expected over
eastern waters Wednesday afternoon.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Chaleur-Miscou - western half and Anticosti -
northwestern half.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
