At 3:30 p.m. ADT Tuesday low 987 mb located near Anticosti Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:39 AM ADT 14 October 2024 A low pressure system near Cape Cod will move northeastward acrossthe Gulf of Maine this afternoon. The low will track across New
Brunswick tonight to lie near Anticosti Island on Tuesday.
Over the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters and Cabot Strait, winds will
increase to strong to gale force easterlies this afternoon and this
evening, then veer to strong to gale force south to southwesterlies
overnight.
Over southern waters, winds will become strong to gale force south to
southwesterlies today and tonight and diminish on Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, Cabot Strait,
and all of the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
