Issued 10:00 AM ADT 15 October 2024 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 990 mb located west of Anticosti Island.By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday departing low 992 mb located over the
northeastern Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:49 AM ADT 15 October 2024 A low pressure system west of Anticosti Island will remain nearlystationary until this evening. The low will then move eastward later
tonight and Wednesday morning to lie over the Northeastern Gulf of
St. Lawrence Wednesday afternoon. Moderate to strong southwesterly
winds will increase to strong to gale force westerlies as the low
tracks eastward.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.
