Issued 8:00 PM ADT 12 October 2024 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing trough located over the eastern
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located from the Great Lakes to
New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday ridge located from Grand Manan to West
Scotian Slope.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight approaching trough located southwest of
the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:52 PM ADT 12 October 2024 A trough of low pressure over the eastern marine district will move
southeastward to lie east of the district by late this evening.
Strong to gale force west to southwest winds ahead of the trough
become gale force northwesterlies in its wake. Winds will diminish
from west to east tonight and Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
marine waters.

Outlook for the start-up of the Upper Bay of Fundy lobster fishery.

Today...Northwest 35 diminishing to northwest 25 this evening.
Seas 2 to 3 metres.

Sunday...Northwest 20 knots diminishing to west 15 near noon and to
southwest 10 to 15 in the evening. Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1
metre or less in the afternoon.

Monday...Winds light becoming easterly 20 knots early in the morning
increasing to east 25 knots near noon. Winds becoming south 25 to 30
in the evening. Seas 1 metre or less in the morning building to 1 to
2 metres near noon.

Tuesday...Southwest 20 to 25 knots. Seas 1 to 2 metres.
