Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:59 PM AST 1 December 2020 A low pressure system over Southern Quebec will continue to track
slowly northward tonight. Southerly gales over western and northern
waters will slowly diminish.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope - western
half, Cabot Strait - northern half, Northumberland Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur Miscou - eastern half, and Anticosti.
Outlook for the start of the southwest lobster fishery.
Wednesday...Winds southwesterly 15 knots increasing to southwest 15
to 20 in the afternoon and to 20 to 25 in the evening. Seas 3 to 4
