At 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday approaching low 988 mb located over Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:46 AM ADT 15 March 2026 A low over Southeastern Newfoundland is continuing to depart leavinggale force northwesterlies in its wake. A ridge of high pressure is
beginning to build into the region giving gradually diminishing winds
over most of the marine district.
Monday night a low over Quebec is forecasted to give gale force
southerlies as the system progresses through eastern, and Atlantic
Canada.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
regions except Northumberland Strait - western half and Chaleur -
Miscou.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Anticosti - northern half.
