Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:58 AM ADT 15 June 2021 Tropical storm Bill is currently located south of West Scotian Slope
and is forecast to track northeastward, crossing over the
southeastern section of East Scotian Slope this evening and
Banquereau early Wednesday morning. Strong to gale force east to
southeast winds are expected ahead of tropical storm Bill.
At 6:00 A.M. ADT, tropical storm Bill was located near
38.5N 67.2W. Maximum sustained winds were estimated at 45
Knots with gusts to 55 knots and central pressure was 999 MB.
Tropical storm Bill is moving northeast at 27 knots.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope - southeastern half, Banquereau - southeastern
half, and Laurentian Fan.
