Issued 8:00 PM AST 15 December 2019 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Monday departing trough located over Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. AST Monday approaching ridge located near Cape Cod.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 6:39 PM AST 15 December 2019 An intense low pressure system currently over Western Labrador will
track northeast to lie over the Labrador coast Monday morning and
become quasi-stationary. Gale to storm force westerlies are expected
tonight and into Monday.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, eastern half of Gulf-Magdalen and
Anticosti. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Cabot Strait and all of the
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
