Issued 3:00 AM ADT 10 July 2020 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today low 1015 mb located over Laurentian Fan.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 1015 mb located south of the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday Tropical Storm Fay 1004 mb located near
Long Island.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday weakening tropical depression Fay 1007
mb located over western New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:44 AM ADT 10 July 2020 Tropical cyclone information..

As of 3:00 AM ADT tropical storm Fay was located near latitude 36.7
north and longitude 74.9 west, about 60 nautical miles or 110
kilometres northeast of Cape Hatteras. Maximum sustained winds are
estimated at 40 knots and the central pressure 1005 MB. Fay is
moving toward the north at 7 knots. Slight strengthening of Fay is
possible today as it moves along the mid-Atlantic coast of the United
States. Thereafter it is expected to weaken as it moves inland and
becomes absorbed into an existing weather feature over Western New
England today night into Saturday. Southerly winds up to 25 knots are
likely over western waters on Saturday as this combined feature
passes well west of the district.
