Issued 8:00 PM AST 7 February 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 964 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight deepening low 986 mb located south of
Georges Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Sunday low 970 mb located south of Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:51 PM AST 7 February 2026 A low pressure system south of Georges Bank will track south of the
marine district tonight and Sunday. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies will develop over southern waters tonight and
gradually diminish late in the day Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope and Laurentian
Fan.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwest shore, LaHave Bank,
eastern shore, Fourchu, Cabot Strait and Gulf - Magdalen.
