Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:09 PM AST 17 January 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Gulf of Maine with track across the
marine district tonight. Strong to gale force southerlies are
expected ahead of this trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Sable, East Scotian Slope, southeastern half of Banquereau and
Laurentian Fan.
