Issued 7:32 PM ADT 10 October 2026 A trough of low pressure will pass east or the Avalon Peninsula thiswith strong northwesterly winds easing tonight as a ridge approaches
the district.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, and Gulf - Magdalen -
northeastern half.
Outlook for the start-up of the Upper Bay of Fundy lobster fishery.
Monday...Winds southwest 25 knots veering to west 10 to 15 knots
mid-day and then to northeast 25 in the evening. Choppy sea
conditions in the evening when winds will be running against the
Rising tide. Tuesday...Winds northeast 25 knots diminishing to east
