Issued 10:00 AM ADT 5 September 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 997 mb located over Eastern Shore.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today quasi-stationary low 996 mb located over
Banquereau.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:37 AM ADT 5 September 2026 A low pressure system over eastern shore is still forecast to
continue moving slowly eastward today, then stall over Banquereau
this evening and Sunday.

Strong to gale force easterlies or northeasterlies are expected over
northern and eastern marine areas.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti - southeastern
half.
