Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:58 AM NDT 14 May 2025 A low pressure system northeast of the marine district will staynearly stationary today while gradually weakening. Strong to gale
force northwesterlies over northern waters will slowly diminish as
the low weakens.
A trough of low pressure is expected to approach from Labrador
tonight and will cross northern waters on Thursday morning. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies are expected behind the trough on
Thursday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.
