Issued 3:30 PM NST 8 December 2023 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 940 mb located eastof Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:17 PM NST 8 December 2023 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will remain nearstationary east of the marine district throughout the forecast
period. Strong to gale force north to westerlies will persist over
all waters today and tonight. On Saturday, winds over eastern waters
will increase to gale to storm force northwesterlies while winds over
western waters begin to diminish.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters.
