By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday low 963 mb located over southern
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:55 AM NST 6 December 2024 An intense low pressure system over Anticosti Island will tracknortheastward across Labrador to lie over the Labrador Sea by
Saturday morning. Gale to storm force southeasterlies ahead of the
low will shift to gale to storm force southwesterlies in the wake of
the low today.
Marine interests are advised storm warnings are in effect for all
waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf waters.
