over northeastern Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:48 PM NST 8 November 2025 A low pressure system northeast of the Gaspé Peninsula will trackeastward along the South Coast of Newfoundland tonight to lie east of
the Northern Grand Banks by Sunday afternoon. Strong to gale force
southerlies to southwesterlies will develop south of the low tonight
and Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Grand Banks.
