At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Monday trough located over eastern Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:21 PM NDT 8 September 2024 A trough of low pressure approaching from the west will sweep across
the district on Monday. Strong to gale force southerlies will develop
ahead of this feature and then shift to strong west to
southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Coast.
