At 10:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 998 mb located over eastern
Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday deepening low 988 mb located over
southern Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:47 AM NDT 20 May 2026 A deepening low pressure system over Quebec will move throughLabrador tonight before crossing Belle Isle Bank on Thursday.
Strong to gale force southerlies ahead of the low will shift to gale
to storm force west to northwesterlies as it passes.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle
Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and Funk Island Bank.
