the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the southeastern Grand Banks.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:57 PM NST 3 March 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland
will continue to sweep across the marine district tonight and Monday.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies will persist over northern
waters in the wake of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, and the
Southern Grand Banks.
