Issued 3:00 AM NST 2 December 2022 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NST today trough located over the East Coast of
Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST today departing trough located over the northern
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday approaching trough located over Ontario.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located southwest of Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday ridge located south of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:54 AM NST 2 December 2022 A trough of low pressure over the East Coast of Newfoundland will
depart to the east today. Gale to storm force south to
southeasterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force west to southwesterlies in its wake.

A second trough will approach the region from the west on Saturday.
Strong to gale force southerly winds will develop over western and
northern waters ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast,
East Coast, and Southwestern Grand Banks.
