Labrador Sea.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday trough located from Labrador Coast to
Belle Isle Bank.
At 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday low 970 mb located southwest of the
Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Sunday low 971 mb located south of the Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:26 PM NST 7 February 2026 An intense low pressure system over the Southeastern Grand Banks willtrack northeastward and depart east of the district on Sunday
morning. Gale to storm force northerlies to northeasterlies north and
west of the low will diminish to strong to gale force northerlies
this evening and further diminish overnight as the low departs.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Northern Grand Banks and Southeastern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are
in effect for East Coast, Funk Island Bank, and Southwestern Grand
Banks.
