Peninsula.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:44 AM NST 13 November 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Avalon Peninsula will graduallystall east of the island by this afternoon. The trough will then
slowly start to drift westward on Thursday, making its way back over
Eastern Newfoundland by Thursday afternoon.
Strong to gale force north to northeasterlies are expected over areas
to the north and west of the trough. Strong to gale force east to
southeasterlies are expected to the south and east.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northern Grand Banks.
