Issued 8:00 PM NDT 8 October 2026 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over New Brunswick.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday trough located east of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:47 PM NDT 8 October 2026 A trough of low pressure over New Brunswick will continue to track
eastward before crossing Newfoundland on Friday. Strong to gale force
southerlies will spread across most waters, ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk
Island Bank.
