By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located south of the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line east-west over
southern Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:45 AM NDT 2 June 2026 A trough of low pressure will approach the district from the north
tonight and move over northern waters on Wednesday. Strong to gale
force southwesterlies will develop ahead of the trough on Wednesday
and shift to strong northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
