the Grand Banks.
At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line east-west over
the Great Northern Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over eastern Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:56 AM NDT 10 August 2022 A low pressure system over the Northern Grand Banks will move east ofthe district tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies are
expected just north of the low, while strong southwesterlies are
expected to its south.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
Northern Grand Banks.
