At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 997 mb located over southern Ontario.
At 10:00 a.m. ADT Thursday low 990 mb located west of New Brunswick.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday low 991 mb located east of Anticosti
Island.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:50 PM ADT 11 March 2026 A low pressure system will approach the marine district from the westtonight and cross the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Thursday. Strong to
gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead of the low and shift to
strong northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Fundy, Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen -
northwestern half, Chaleur - Miscou, and Anticosti - southern half.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters except Northumberland
Strait.
