By 8:00 p.m. AST Friday trough located on a line east-west over
southern Georges Bank.

Issued 9:56 AM AST 28 January 2021 A low pressure system developing off the us Eastern Seaboard willdeepen rapidly as it approaches today and passes south of the
district tonight and Friday. Strong to gale force north to northeast
winds will develop across most regions tonight and persist into
Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, LaHave Bank, West
Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau - southern half and
Laurentian Fan.
Additionally, freezing spray warnings are in effect for
Northumberland Strait - western half, Gulf-Magdalen - western half
and Chaleur-Miscou - eastern half.
