Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 1006 mb located over southern Georges
Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday departing low 1000 mb located northeast
of Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday building ridge located over New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 AM ADT 15 June 2024 A low pressure system southwest of the marine district will track
northeastward today and tonight to lie east of Newfoundland by Sunday
morning. Strong to gale force southerly winds ahead of the
disturbance shift to strong northerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau - southeastern
half and Laurentian Fan.
