Wind northwest 15 knots diminishing to light early this morning then increasing to southeast 15 to 20 this evening. Wind veering to southerly 25 near midnight with gusts to 40 from Margaree Harbour to Bay St. Lawrence overnight. Wind becoming northwest 25 to 30 Tuesday morning.

Rain tonight and Tuesday morning. Fog patches forming overnight and dissipating Tuesday morning.

of Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1015 mb located over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Tuesday low 995 mb located east of Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:35 AM ADT 26 October 2020 A low pressure system approaching from New England later today will
move across the Gulf of St. Lawrence Tuesday morning to lie east of
Newfoundland by Tuesday evening. Strong south to southwest winds
developing ahead of the low tonight could possibly approach gale
force Tuesday morning over the Banquereau marine area. Behind the
low, strong northwesterlies could also approach gale force Tuesday
afternoon over the Cabot Strait marine area.
