Issued 8:00 PM AST 10 February 2026 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Wednesday deepening low mb located near LaHave
Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday low 989 mb located south of Halifax.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located over the western Marine
District.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday weakening ridge located on a line
north-south over the central Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:49 PM AST 10 February 2026 A low pressure system will emerge in the Gulf of Maine on Wednesday
and deepen as it passes south of Nova Scotia. Strong to gale force
east to southeast winds are expected to develop ahead of and north of
the track of the low. Gale force westerlies are expected to develop
south of the low Wednesday evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, and Laurentian Fan.
