Issued 8:00 PM ADT 17 April 2025 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 994 mb located over central Labrador.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday low 1000 mb located over Labrador Sea.

By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight building ridge located over the eastern
United States.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:45 PM ADT 17 April 2025 A low pressure system over Labrador will track northeastward tonight
pushing an associated trough across the marine the district. Strong
to gale force westerlies are forecast over northern waters behind the
trough.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Anticosti - western half.

Outlook for the start-up of the eastern shore lobster fishery.

Friday..Winds west 15 knots becoming southwest 20 knots in the
afternoon. Sea state 1 to 2 metres.

Saturday..Winds southwest 20 knots becoming southwest 25 to 30 knots
in the afternoon. Sea state 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 metres.

Sunday..Winds southwest 20 to 25 becoming west 25 to 35 late in the
day. Sea state 2 to 3 metres.

Monday..Northwest 25 to 35 becoming northwest 20 to 25 in the
afternoon. Sea state 2 to 3 metres becoming 1 to 2 metres.
