At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 999 mb located over southern Ontario.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 1000 mb located over eastern Nova
Scotia.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:38 AM ADT 13 March 2026 A trough of low pressure over eastern waters will move east of thedistrict early this afternoon. Strong to gale force southerlies ahead
of the trough will shift to strong to gale force westerlies in its
wake.
A low pressure system will approach the region from the west on
Saturday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of this low will
shift to strong to gale force westerlies in its wake Saturday
evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable,
East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot
Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou - eastern half and Anticosti -
southern half.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait - northern half and all Gulf of St. Lawrence
waters except Northumberland Strait.
