Issued 10:00 AM AST 13 December 2019 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday intensifying low 1004 mb located near
Cape Hatteras.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 990 mb located over New England.

By 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday trough from 990 mb low located over
the Gulf of Maine.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Avalon Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:55 AM AST 13 December 2019 Strong northwesterly winds over northern waters today will diminish
as a ridge builds into the region from the west. Moderate to strong
southerlies will develop over western waters late in the day today.
Winds will continue to strengthen throughout the day Saturday to
become gale force south to southeasterlies by Saturday evening as a
low pressure system approaches from the southwest.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Chaleur - Miscou - western half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti.
