Issued 8:00 PM NDT 10 October 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line east-west over
the South Coast of Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Sunday trough located southeast of the Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT Sunday approaching ridge located over the
Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NDT 10 October 2026 A trough of low pressure will continue to swing southeastwards across
the district tonight before departing to the southeast on Sunday, as
a ridge of high pressure slowly builds towards the district from the
west. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will persist over most
waters between these features.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Southern Grand Banks.
