Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:48 PM ADT 9 March 2026 A trough of low pressure over Quebec will move eastward tonightpassing just north of the marine district Tuesday morning. Increasing
southwesterly winds will reach strong to gale force ahead of the
trough. Diminishing winds are expected through the day Tuesday as the
trough pulls away and a weak ridge builds into the district.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Anticosti - northwestern half.
