Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:49 AM AST 17 February 2026 A low south of East Scotian Slope will continue to deepen as ittracks just south of the district today and tonight. Gale to storm
force northeasterlies north of the low will become strong to gale
force northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope - southern half, Banquereau - southeastern half,
and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect for West Scotian
Slope, Sable, East Scotian Slope - northern half, and Banquereau -
northwestern half.
