Showers or flurries ending this afternoon. Periods of rain Monday late in the day with a risk of thunderstorms. Fog patches forming Monday evening.

By 3:30 p.m. AST Monday ridge located east of the Marine District.
At 3:00 a.m. AST Monday low 999 mb located near the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Monday low 988 mb located over southern Quebec.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:57 AM AST 5 December 2021 A low pressure system near the Great Lakes early Monday morning will
intensify as it tracks eastward into Quebec by Monday evening. Strong
to gale force southerly winds are expected across the marine district
ahead of the disturbance.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Banquereau and Laurentian Fan. A freezing spray warning
is in effect for Anticosti.
