By 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 1002 mb located over northern Banquereau.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday departing low 988 mb located north
of Newfoundland.
At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located from the Gaspe Peninsula
to West Scotian Slope.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:47 AM ADT 12 May 2026 A developing low pressure system over East Scotian Slope this morningwill move north to lie over Northern Banquereau by this afternoon.
Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies will develop later this
evening in the wake of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait and Banquereau.
