By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday low 1004 mb located near the Quebec
Lower North Shore.
At 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday approaching ridge located over the
St. Lawrence River.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:47 PM AST 25 January 2022 An intensifying low pressure system currently over the Southern Gulf
of St. Lawrence will move though the gulf tonight. Strong to gale
force southerlies ahead of the low will become moderate to strong
northwesterlies behind it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.
A freezing spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
