Temperatures minus 4 rising to plus 7 overnight then falling to plus 2 Tuesday evening.

Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:50 AM AST 17 January 2022 An intense low pressure system developing along the Eastern Seaboard
of the U.S. will track northward today and tonight, passing just west
of the district, to lie over Western Labrador by Tuesday morning.
Gale to storm force southerly winds will develop ahead of this
system, while strong to gale force westerly winds are forecast in its

all waters except Fundy, Northumberland Strait, Chaleur-Miscou and
Anticosti - western half, which have gale warnings.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
Marine interests are also advised that higher than normal water
levels and rough seas are expected along the Atlantic Coast near high
tide this evening and also along the northern coastline of Cabot
