Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:44 AM ADT 9 October 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Maritimes will continue to moveeastward across the district today. Strong to gale force southeast
winds over northern waters ahead of the trough will shift to moderate
to strong westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau - northwestern half, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen -
eastern half, and Anticosti.
