Cape Cod.
At 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 1005 mb located over Banquereau.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Saturday low 1005 mb located east of Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:44 AM AST 6 December 2019 A low pressure system over the Great Lakes will move to lie near CapeCod this evening and then track eastward across the southern marine
district tonight and Saturday morning reaching Banquereau by Saturday
afternoon. Gale force southwesterly winds south of the low will shift
to strong northwesterlies in its wake.
A cold northwesterly flow will develop late in the day Saturday
bringing freezing spray to northern Gulf waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, and Laurentian
Fan.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
